Here is one of my creations. I have more than one but so far this is the best. The picture is not the greatest.

I DID IT.......

I just love Christmas. The lights, music, and the joy of seeing people thinking of others. But every year I think this year I am going to put lights up outside. Today it was a warm 60 outside. My everloving husband came and said ok lets go. So here is the results. Never up with Karyn but it is a start. Think I will leave them and just add more every year. What do you think>?

Just for grandma

I saw this background and know how much grandma loves her Christmas trees so I thought I would add some holiday fun for her. We love you grandma. We miss you and had a great Thanksgiving wish we could be there for Christmas.

BLACK FRIDAY

This Thanksgiving Day has been fun. Stayed up till 4am doing pies and rolls for dinner at Pauls. Was up at 6.30 for the great day. We went to Pauls and had a great time. Mike, sarah, Thayer,Trysten,Alana, Sarahs Parents was there. Sarahs mom and did the turkey and etc. Next morning went to Best Buy at 3am but line was so long went back home. Sarah and I returned back at 4.45. Well I was able to get tickets for the two items I was after. We then proceeded to Walmart spent 45 minutes in line to pay for 2 more items. On back to Best Buy for the 2 items I needed from there. Are we crazy or what? To prove the sanity of it all we then went to Nebraska Furniture Mart to try for that all one great buy a 17.00 digital photo frame. It only took us 1 hour to make a normal 15 min. run. Parking was just as eventful. Another 45 min. Would have given up knowing that our great buy was long gone but I left Sarah at the front door. Thinking all might not be lost and getting more excited by the minute as I approched the front doors I proceeded to find my faithful and supportive daughter. Now if I had the other two there things would have really been rolling. Great team we make. I found the ultimate buy for Dave. Oh will he be so happy and surprised. ( Not guest it right away upon arrival home) His for sure after the 50 minute in line to pay for it. The line up for our shopping spree was still long and the night was now turning to a nice bright day. Time was short. Go Go Go. swimming in my brain. The rest of the uneventful day went as such. Toys R us for 3 supper great build your own Dinosaurus.T-Rex at that. Menards shopted out. Tried and tried to not run short of the shopping reputation. But to no avail fell short of the mark. ( Boy will Dave be happy) Next on the list Yonkers for gloves and scarf. Bingo one more purchase. Now we can go home BUT wait Target here we come , Shopko we forgot the crock pot. 1030 and the magic ends there at 11.00. Can we make it? By the skin of our teeth but we did it. Now home???? Sure, say ,Sarah why not visit GameStop thats on the way. Yeh Sarahs hunt was finally over ,buy it and home here we come. Wait only half of the bargin at this store. Have to back track to another Gamestop. Cant let a good thing get away buy 2 and get the third free. Better let the boys know. Baby sitting can put you in the nut house when it is suppose to be only a 3 hour job and it is now running on to 8 hours. Whos counting?? The GUYS? Great what one little phone call can do. Now everyone is happy counting on the return of the great shoppers. Target we headed there and missed it. Better make one more little stop. ----------------- 2.30 and we are now pulling into the drive way. Share time with mom and daughter at a close. Inter the house phone rings. Karyn mom where are you. Done for the day. Put Sarah on. Bath and Body here she comes. Forgot there is 2 more hours left. What can a body be thinking calling it quits. Next year we will be better equipted WATCH OUT.

Happy Thanksgiving

Well all is going well. Sarah, Thayer, Trysten and Alana came last night. It is good to see them. We went to the Ginger Bread display at winter Quarters . Got Jenise, Jeffery and Emily to tag along with us. After that we went to Cainsville in Iowa to the one there. ( It is 400am. I just finished four pies and got rolls ready for Thanksgiving at Pauls.) Back to the display. It was wonderful. One lady put 90 hours into hers. I will post pictures later on. After that we came home and Sarah, Lora and I went to see Twilight for the second time. What a treat. Just the girls. Have a good Thanks Giving.

Saturday Lora and Derek came over. Its been a long time sence we had a good share time together. We went to see Twilight. I thought I would be bored. Not so. It was very good. Recommend it highly. Then they came back home and Derek played wii and really did a good work out. He has so much energy. After the show we went to daltons book store and bought the second book for Twilight New Moon. Lora read that and had it half finished by the time I took her home. It was a very good day.

Parks are not the same

This summer Grandma was invited to go for a walk and play at the school playground. Beware of the parents.

MAKING OF A PORCH--MINE

This is from start to almost finish of our back porch. Had lots of help from my daughters Karyn and Becky. Although Becky was recovering from a head operation just couldn't keep her away from the fun. The grandchildren had a hand in it to.

Jefferys Birthday

Here is the first entry for Granny Grunt. Jefferys Birthday party. The cake was made by Jenise all by hand. The Dinos atop the cake was a great hit. Lots of games and fun . We missed not having the rest of the grand kids there. Maybe next year.
